Agristo has the ambition to thoroughly address their safety culture at the various sites. They wanted to use this as a basis to test where they currently stand on the safety maturity ladder, in order to draw up their safety compass and action plan in the next step.
Agristo set to work with great enthusiasm on a safety culture programme with Samurai at Work. ‘If we do something, we do it right the first time! That's the impact we're going for.’.
Our Samurai conducted some 30 baseline measurement workshops, spread across all Agristo sites, to engage in dialogue with all levels of the organisation.
The result? An honest picture of the current safety culture based on the perceptions of employees, managers and the board of directors.
A good basis to get started with the Agristo safety compass: what do we really consider important in terms of safety?
This also had to fit into the organisational compass that had already been drawn up a year earlier by the management team.
This compass provided direction in the creation of an overall plan of action, with attention to the individuality of each site.
