1.2. Samurai at Work also complies with European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data by means of this Privacy Policy.

1.3. The party responsible for processing your personal data is Samurai at Work. 1.4. The term ‘Personal Data’ refers to all information about an identified or identifiable natural person. 2.1. Personal data that you share with us:

  • Category 1, without registration: your IP address, anonymous surfing behaviour and geolocation;
  • Category 2: upon registration: your surname, first name and email address;
  • Category 3: when subscribing to our newsletter: your surname, first name and email address;
  • Category 4: via non-functional cookies and tags, namely analytical and tracking cookies as specified in Article 9;

2.2. Samurai at Work can collect data from you (Personal Data) in different ways:

3.1. General purposes:

Samurai at Work will only use the Personal Data collected from you for the following purposes:

  • Category 1: for maintaining and improving this website and for including personal data in anonymous statistics, from which the identity of specific persons or companies cannot be determined, based on the legitimate interests of Van Dieve to continuously improve its website and services;

This privacy statement relates to the transfer of personal information to third parties, in particular JamesBold.agency, which developed and maintains the website. Samurai at Work may share personal information with third parties, such as JamesBold.agency, in order to guarantee the functionality and security of the website, to offer technical support and to solve any problems with the website. These third parties have signed an agreement with Samurai at Work which contains at least the same obligations for the third party concerned as the obligations of Samurai at Work towards you. Each third party will only process those personal details that are strictly necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing.

This does not affect the provision for recourse to a civil court. If you suffer damages as a result of the processing of your personal data by Samurai at Work, you can file a claim for compensation.

6.2. Under no circumstances can Samurai at Work be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use of Personal Data by a third party.
