Safety communication

Safe behaviour workshop: The court

Safety agreements are there for a reason, but we don't always follow them. In ‘court’, we learn to listen to each other with respect, build argumentation and work towards a constructive solution on existing (potentially controversial) safety issues from your organisation.

Banzai!*

Duration: 1 hour
Participants: max. 15 participants
Supervisors: 1 Samurai trainer
Sessions: max. 5 sessions per trainer per day

*cry from the samurai when he (she) achieves a goal (read: ‘output’)

Would you like to know more or have a question for us? Drop us a message and we’ll be happy to check it out with you over a nice (virtual) coffee!

What?

Participants will be summoned and must appear before the Samurai court. During the hearing, the court will consider one to two relevant safety topics from the organisation.

A division will be made into two camps: PRO and CONTRA. This division will be done at random and therefore not in line with the opinion of the participants!

It is up to each camp to prepare and make a plea before the judge to clarify and defend their position. Are you in the PRO camp and you are CONTRA? Then you will be challaned to look at the issue from the opposing point of view.
After hearing both pleas, we as a group form our final opinion on the topic at hand.

Why?

Learn to listen to each other with respect, build argumentation and work towards a constructive solution in the context of a safety issue.

Banzai!

After this workshop, you will be able to defend your position clearly and listen better to that of others. You will have an understanding of the importance of the safety topic covered.
